A few simple rules for a beautiful rose garden

Growing roses in the garden can be relatively simple, if some small rules are respected. Like any plant, the rose requires minimal care to prevent it from being attacked by bacteria and other tiny insects, perhaps with the addition in the soil of fertilizer that allows a healthy development. The rose plant, with its flower, requires annual or semi-annual pruning, depending on the chosen variety: in general, dry and old branches are cut away to allow the younger ones to develop better. The old branches can act as cuttings for other grafts, because the rose plant is strong enough to grow in difficult conditions, despite its flower, for perfume and composition, is very delicate. Speaking of perfume, one cannot not count one of its similarly beautiful competitor, but more powerful in smell: it is the tuberose, whose flower has particular characteristics. It is composed, in fact, of fleshy rosette leaves and releases an irresistible fragrance only after sunset: it is said that its essence has the ability to stimulate creativity and vital energy.

Used to embellish the garden or the balcony, the rose flower has a competitor that in recent years, is establishing itself for its organoleptic and aesthetic characteristics: the tuberose. The tuberose, or Polianthes, comes from Mexico and is part of the Agaveceae family. The discovery of this plant and its characteristics imposed, for the colonizers, the export: the essence that emanates its flowers is strongly intense and pleasant and for these reasons, it is still used for the composition of refined and refined perfumes.
